Player safety is the #1 priority of the Klein Texans and that starts with quality equipment. Our players will suit up in the best helmets and shoulder pads made.

Our helmets will be Navy Blue with White face masks. We will eventually have the Houston Texans logo on the helmets as well.

    For comfort and fitting due to differences in head configurations, 7736-    3/4" Front Sizers and 7722-1/2" or 1" Back Sizers are available. These sizers are easy to remove and replace.

 

Shoulder Pads:
We've chosen Douglas as our shoulder pad provider. Douglas is world famous for their custom fit equipment and are the #1 manufacturer of shoulder pads used at all levels of competition.
For the Klein Texans, we've chosen to purchase the JP series pad which is built for youth league football. Douglas provides 2 styles:

The JP32 Series:

This single sternum hook-up pad is great for all junior players. The cut-away shell design also provides better mobility and arm extension. The Texans will outfit our Quarterbacks, Running Backs, Wide Receivers and Defensive Backs in this style.

The JP36 Series:

Featuring double hook-ups and an extended shell design, this pad provides a snug and comfortable fit for taller junior players. The extended shell design delivers maximum shoulder and torso protection. The sleek provides better mobility and arm extension needed for all positions. The Texans will outfit our Linemen, Linebackers, and Fullbacks with this style.

Leg Pads:
We have a large inventory of various designs and manufacturers. Each player is supplied with a tail pad, two hip pads, two thigh pads and two knee pads.
