| The Klein Texans Booster Club is one of eleven organizations which comprise the All American Youth Football and Drill Team (A.A.Y.F.D.T.) league. Each booster club fields four football teams and two drill teams. The football teams are divided into four divisions - Freshman, Sophomore, Junior and Senior - with players ranging in age from 8~12. The dance squads are divided into two divisions: Junior and Senior.
Our
season begins with practice during the first week of August and wraps up the
weekend before Thanksgiving. In between we have 3 scrimmage games, 8 regular
season games, and 3 rounds of playoffs culminating in the Superbowl Championship
and Drill Team Competition. Each booster club is defined by boundaries that correspond to intermediate school attendance zones. The Klein Texans and the Texas Angels attendance zone corresponds with Doerre Intermediate. Some of our players and dancers will someday represent the Klein BearKats and the Klein Bearkadettes, while some of our players and dancers will represent the Klein Oak Panthers and the Klein Oak Strutters. |
